Barbara is a founding member and the past president of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire.  She is a juried member of New Hampshire Art Association, a signature member of Pastel Painters of Maine, and a member of the Seacoast Art Association, Kittery Art Association, and the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts on St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Barbara's art explorations of 34 years have taken her from her watercolor and pastel impressionistic paintings to her current passion with abstraction in oil painting. The focus of her art has often derived from her en plain air painting excursions and her enjoyment of the history, architecture, and many moods of New England and the US Virgin Islands.
