Marilu Arket is a New England Artist who draws her inspiration from nature, which she considers a master artist to continually learn from. Her experimentation with several different mediums and utilizing knowledge of Rayleigh-Taylor instability and fluid dynamics has led her to the current technique and style of art she creates.

In the process of creating art, Marilu utilizes several different mediums. Depending on the work, she includes the unique use of inks, acrylics, oils, watercolors, dyes, pastels, photography, or language. Using these mediums and combining them with mixed media techniques and layering, she creates effects that lead the viewer to experience a sense of mystery, emotion, or beauty. Her works have been in galleries throughout New England and are in collections around the world.
