As a creative person Sharon chose Hairdressing, rather than painting. After the kids were grown, she pursued oil painting. Being partially retired, she now has more time to devote to painting. She likes blending the creamy oils to create realistic beauty. She has a passion for flowers, but paints most anything. Some subjects are pets, people ,sunrises and sunsets, boats, and the ocean. Plus many more. She likes to share happiness and beauty through her art.

Sharon is mostly self taught. She has taken classes in Boston, at the ACADEMY OF REALIST ART, and with various other artists.   She has exhibited her work locally at coffeeshops and at the Firehouse in Newburyport, and the Barn in Essex. She also has exhibited in Juried shows She continues to gain knowledge to perfect her craft.
