Bob Morin
Bob is a native of Manchester, NH now living in Salem, Massachusetts. He graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1973 with a BFA in Photography. At RISD he was fortunate enough to study under both Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind. His work comprises primarily black and white images which he finds more expressive in revealing the subtle qualities of light.
Around 2010 he began transitioning from film to digital imaging given the advances in digital cameras and printers. While he still works with film the bulk of his current work is digital. Bob has also worked in alternate printing methods including cyanotype, kallitype, and prints over gold and silver leaf.
