Carol Powley has a degree in Fine Art, painting and drawing, from Rowan University. Her specialty is in Fiber Art. Carol incorporates her love of the coastal landscape where she lives in the state of Maine, through water color on cotton and silk fabric which is emphasized with free motion machine embroidery. Her love for color is strongly represented in her art. Her skill with design is a significant aspect of her work. She loves expressing her joy of living in the southern Maine and New Hampshire coastal area and representing it in her art for all to see.
