Nancy is self-taught and has played with many mediums but finds oil to be her favorite.  She loves the richness of texture and color.  She is intrigued to paint any subject, such as still life, landscape, coastal/marine, and floral.  Plein air painting is her favorite classroom, but most of her work is done in the studio from memory or photographs. She is not focused on one style or subject, rather always learning. While painting, she is lost in the moment. "There is nothing greater than when one sees your creation and feels a connection and joy." She is drawn to the works of Monet and Sargent, along with many others, and loves to visit galleries whenever possible.
