Kevin Dadoly
Kevin Dadoly is a colorblind artist who works in both watercolor and oil. He is known as a teaching artist who has conducted his signature workshops for over twenty years on the islands of Maine and on Nantucket (featured as the visiting artist and artist in residence for the AAN).
His work is strong, colorful and well composed. His use of color is baffling until you realize he compensates for his lack of color vision by understanding color values and how they apply to mixing color and color perspective. Dadoly has had several solo shows and will be exhibiting at NHAA in September of this year with Barbara Nolan.
