Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, Darren has been fortunate enough to have lived and traveled across the world for over 30 years. This extensive global exposure has significantly influenced his life and the art he creates.  You will find traces of various art movements and genres that have inspired him throughout his artistic journey.

Drawing inspiration from the Expressionist movement of the 1920s, the abstract artists of the mid-century, and the Neo-Expressionists of the 1980s and beyond, his work embodies a unique blend of these influences. Darren strives to capture the essence of human emotion, inner turmoil, and the complexities of the human experience through his art.

Darren currently resides and maintains a studio in Concord, NH.
