David Dodge paints landscapes, primarily en plein air, and is a continual student of nature and traditional landscape art. His love of the outdoors and the landscape began while growing up in the Connecticut River Valley of New Hampshire on farmland looking to Mount Ascutney. He now lives in York Maine where he is fascinated with working boats, and in the Monadnock region where New Hampshire's rugged and varied landscape a constant inspiration. He is a past President of Monadnock Art/Friends of the Dublin Art Colony, Dublin, NH, a member The New Hampshire Art Association, and was involved with Monadnock Community Hospital’s Healing Art Gallery.
