After graduating from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1969, David began his career as an Art Director and Creative Director at Boston- and New York-based advertising agencies where he created national print ads and TV commercials.

Since his retirement, he has become widely known for his Steampunk rocket ship sculptures created from antique and vintage repurposed artifacts. His pieces are displayed in galleries and museums in several states, and inspired an award-winning film entitled “Rocketship” that was screened nationwide and was featured on Virgin Airways in-flight movies.

David has also written four books including three collections of humorous short stories and one award-winning crime novel. The latter, entitled “Connected” won the coveted Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for crime fiction and has received high praise in professional reviews.
