Emily is a freelance screen printer and illustrator with a passion for blending digital and tactile mediums to explore themes of food, community, and domesticity. Her creative journey has been shaped by a love of food and art making. After receiving her BFA in Illustration from MassArt in 2012, she spent a decade baking professionally in kitchens around New England. A transformative road trip in 2022 reignited her passion for visual art, leading her to embrace art full-time and take on a leadership role at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, NH. In 2023, she deepened her practice by learning screen printing and became a member at Chases Garage in York, ME. Emily is currently the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for NHAA, and is focused on building a sustainable art career through markets, gallery shows, and freelance opportunities, while continuing to push the boundaries of screen printing and storytelling through her love of food and art.
