Emmett Donlon (b. 1997) lives and works in Manchester, New Hampshire. He received his BFA in Painting and Sculpture at Carnegie Mellon University. His work explores the intersections between personal and shared histories, gathering references from pop culture, historical archives, and personal collections. Portraits of celebrities, politicians, and other public figures become icons of particular moments in history that Emmett curates and critiques.
