JoAnn Portalupi is a plein air and studio painter from Lee, NH. She paints on location in and around the seacoast, along the coast of Downeast Maine and in many of the places her travel takes her.

Mainly an observational painter, she loves using color in the search for the geometry of space before her.  Her work has been seen in many small group shows in the seacoast area and in the Muhulland Gallery and West Quoddy Lighthouse Gallery in Lubec, Maine.
