Lennie Mullaney is an observational artist who paints from life. That may be plein aire landscapes, seascapes or city scenes done all prima. It may be studio still life, figurative or floral paintings. The artwork is not so much about content as relationships between color, value, shapes and mark making. A painterly approach considers the whole composition and its impact on the viewer. Lennie has an MFA in Painting and an MS in Art Education. Her studio is at the Button factory in Portsmouth by appointment.
