Pat Gerkin
Pat Gerkin's abstract paintings and mixed media have been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows throughout the Washington, DC area and New England, and she has exhibited in several museum shows, including Mattatuck Museum, Waterbury, CT; Highfield Hall and Gardens, Falmouth, MA; Saco Museum, Saco, ME; The Art Complex, Duxbury, MA; Springfield Museums, Springfield, MA; Worcester State University, Worcester, MA; Bristol Community College, Fall River, MA.
She is a former Associate Artist of the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA; a current member of the Ogunquit Artist’s Association in Ogunquit, ME; a founding member of New England Wax; a founding member of Elemental, the Art Collective (an environmental exhibit group). Ms. Gerkin was awarded an artist’s fellowship for painting at Vermont Studio Center, 2001, and was chosen to represent the U.S. and exhibit two works in the American Embassy in Kuwait, 2016-2017, as part of the Arts in Embassies program of the U.S. State Department. Her works are included in many public and private collections in the U.S., Brazil, and Europe.
