Priti lives and works in MA. She draws her inspiration from exploration. She is constantly experimenting, playing and trying new techniques. The process of art making is exciting to her. Everything goes into her creative process, always thinking of new things to paint and different techniques to try. She uses this to move her art forward. Her art is very informal with a playful but edgy vibe.

To start and complete a painting is magical experience, the piece usually takes on a direction of its own.Her abstract pieces are a mix of gestural and hand drawn lines, washes, grid pattern, shapes and textures. Drawing and mark making serve as the structural bones and accents, creating a foundational architecture, while lively paint and ink layers create depth, texture, atmosphere and mood.
