Richard is a fine art photographer whose main focus is on nature photography. Past projects have included a year-long study of flower close-ups at Fuller Gardens and 15 years of photographing jazz musicians at the Press Room. Richard has also have done some studio work, mainly with some specialized LED lighting that he developed for the purpose. Some of my nature photography has been incorporated into local informational kiosks for the National Park Service Wild & Scenic Rivers Program.

Richard has served for many years on the NHAA exhibition committee helping to hang shows and was the former chair of the NHAA photography group when it was based in Portsmouth.
