Sandra was educated and taught College Biology in Montreal Quebec. She also studied at Concordia University School of Fine Arts. After moving to New Hampshire she started taking courses at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and taking workshops with many known professional artists.Oil painting is her passion but sometimes pastel, a more immediate medium, is most appropriate for the subject at hand.

Her method is to take photographs, make sketches and do color studies outdoors. She finishes works in the studio. Coastal landscapes, plants and animals are her subject matter. Her style is to try to interpret and capture the essence and mood of the subject.

Sandra is a longtime member of NHAA.
