Born in London, England, Sara travelled to the US as a young child with her Italian Mother, Persian Father and brother to seek the “American Dream”. They settled in the countryside of Connecticut surrounded by nature and a creative artistic family. She studied art history and attended studio classes in college. After graduation she moved to NYC and immersed herself into the art scene working as a showroom designer and creative director for international corporations such as Bergdorf Goodman, Louis, Boston and Macy’s. This period of time also presented opportunities to visit artists and museums around the world. She shifted her career into the financial sector all while keeping her studio practices. Retiring in 2021 to care for her aged Mother she had time to re-assess her life and returned to her original passion of art. Juried into the New Hampshire Art Association in April 2022, member of York & Kittery Art Association. She resides in York, Maine with her husband and dachshund exploring creativity, art, horseback riding and yoga.
