Shirley Reed is a local Portsmouth,NH resident and has found joy in photography since 8 years old. She spent years honing her art while shooting 35 mm and black and white film which required developing and processing in her own darkroom. She now shoots in digital format and her workflow is processed on a computer.

She specializes in nature, lifestyle and landscape photography. Her work encourages us to slow down, to appreciate our environment and to emphasize the amazing colors, textures, patterns and scenes that are all around us, but often overlooked do to hectic and busy lifestyles.
